What's The Deal?

I got an interesting email the other day. It was from a reader who ordered 11 items and wanted to know why his shipping was about $15.00. He sent me what he ordered and said if he ordered from Walter Drake he would get free shipping on an order of $40 or more.

Looking at the items he ordered I went to Walter Drake and compared. Their prices were in some cases 5 times as high as our. Example he wanted the Jumbo Remote Control. Our price is $4.99... Walter Drake $19.99.  Magic Blender us $19.99... them $59.99. Every other item that we both had that he ordered was AT LEAST double in price of ours. Now we would gladly give free shipping at those prices... in the end paying our shipping and handling and ordering all the items was $70.00 cheaper from us, than with them.

My point is don't be fooled by these offers of free shipping... look at the cost of the item. We don't mark our items to retail, we keep them low priced for you. But that means we have to cover our costs on S&H.

Now on to today's item. I LOVE this item. Lamp Sensors that turn on your lights at dusk and turn them off at dawn. I have timers on many of my lights and the in-house ones are easy to use and I have no problems. But for the life of me, the outside lights I can't figure out how to set the timers. I don't know what I did with the instructions and for the last year I have to do it manually and then when I'm out of town they don't go on and off.

Anyway, this item automatically senses when it's low light and turns on your lamp or in my case the outside lights. Then it turns them off when it is light out.
